About Mid-State Manufacturing Corporation
Established in 1952 by William Campbell, Mid-State Manufacturing Corporation started by selling extension cords to local businesses. As our company developed we continued to add more electrical accessories and began manufacturing a full line of products. This included power cords, extension cords, brooder lights, trouble lights and booster cables along with many others.
By 1964 Mid-State began to see a demand in custom power supply cords. To meet this new request, while still focusing on the retail line of products, William Campbell opened Cord-Sets Inc. Together these two companies continued to serve our customers with quality products for their retail and custom needs.
On January 1st, 2007 Mid-State and Cord-Sets Inc. merged into one company. To better serve our customers the newly combined company moved all manufacturing into the Cord-Sets facility. The original Mid-State building currently serves as our finished goods warehouse with all production taking place in the Cord-Sets building. This allows us to utilize both buildings to better serve our O.E.M. and retail customers.
